We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumbing Technician will ensure that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for various plumbing tasks.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete construction projects.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
• Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific plumbing applications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
• Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
• A background in maintenance person services or general construction is advantageous.
