Drywall Superintendent - $80-100k - Non-Union

Commercial Drywall Superintendent

Location: Seattle, WA

Company Overview: A growing commercial drywall company specializing in tenant improvements and multi-family residential projects in the Seattle area is looking to add a great Superintendent to our team! We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, creating spaces that enhance our communities.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to oversee drywall installation and finishing operations for our tenant improvement and multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, ensuring project deadlines, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • -Supervise and coordinate all drywall activities on multiple job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • -Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • -Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • -Provide leadership and direction to drywall crews, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • -Schedule and manage materials delivery, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing projects.
  • -Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise and adjust work plans as necessary.
  • -Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and time tracking.

Qualifications:

  • -Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent, specifically in commercial tenant improvements and multi-family construction.
  • -Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • -Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • -Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • -Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • -Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
